jrok96's Deckbuilding Challenge

Rules:

You must choose either 3 affixes or 1 challenge. You must join this Discord and have your server name match your in-game name. You must post your deck and the affixes/challenge that you are choosing in the Discord under deck-verification. This means that you and your opponent will know each others’ lists and choices going into the games.

Matches:

Matches will be best 2 out of 3, the finals will be best 3 out of 5, and hopefully broadcast on twitch.tv/jrok96. You will have 24h from the start of the round to complete your match. Once your match is completed, you must post your results in the match-results channel of the Discord, tagging jrok96 and your opponent. Your opponent must confirm that the results are correct by reacting to the message with a thumbs up.

Affixes:

1. Steep Curve: Your deck must contain 10 or more cards of the same cost.

2. Genesis is P2W: You cannot use any Genesis cards.

3. Trial and Error: You cannot use any Trial cards.

4. New World Order: You cannot use any Order cards.

5. Niche Pick: You must use Heal, Neferu’s Sacrifice, Enrage, Flourish, Thievery, or Clear Mind.

6. Greed is Real: Your deck must contain 10 or more cards that cost 6 or more.

7. On a Budget: Your deck must cost less than 0.064 ETH (~$200).

8. Perfect Curve: Your deck must play more (or equal) 1 cost cards than 2 cost cards, more (or equal) 2 cost cards than 3 cost cards, etc.

9. The Real Legend: Your deck cannot contain any legendary cards.

10. Set Master: Your deck must contain exactly 6 cards from Genesis, 6 cards from Core, 6 cards from Trial, 6 cards from Welcome, 6 cards from Divine Order (cannot be used with affixes 2-4).

11. Rarity Master: Your deck must contain exactly 9 commons, 9 rares, 9 epics, and 3 legendaries (cannot be used with affix 9).

12. Tech Master: Your deck must contain at least one anti-sleep, one anti-relic, one board clear/AOE, one single target removal, and one heal (cards with leech do not count).

Challenges:

1. Solidarity: Your entire deck must cost the same amount of mana (e.g all 1 mana cards, all 2 mana cards, etc.)

2. Powerless: You cannot use any god powers or Small Bag of Tricks.

3. F2P: You can only use Welcome and Core cards.

4. Epic Fail: Your deck must contain all epic rarity cards.

5. Monster Mash: Your deck must contain 30 creatures.

6. Vanilla Milkshake: Your deck must contain at least 10 creatures without text.

Prizes: $200+ Prize Pool

There will be prizes for first and second place as well as two prizes for most creative deck, one chosen by jrok96 and one chosen by the community (participants/viewers).

I do not have any sponsors currently so this money is directly coming out of my wallet. Additionally, I will add 40% of my revenue while streaming this tournament to the prize pool. The base amount distributed will be $200 total, with the following breakdown.

1st Place: $100 + 10% of Twitch revenue

2nd Place: $50 + 10% of Twitch revenue

Most Creative Deck (jrok96): $25 + 10% of Twitch revenue

Most Creative Deck (community): $25 + 10% of Twitch revenue
